Production Preparation Operator

For our client at Bostik in Oosterhout, we are looking for a Production Preparation Operator (Mixing Department).

In this role, you ensure that the correct raw materials are weighed and prepared accurately and on time, allowing the production process to run smoothly. You will work with liquid raw materials and play an important role in maintaining quality, safety, and continuity within the mixing department.

As a Production Preparation Operator, you are responsible for preparing the mixing process. Your tasks include:

• Weighing and preparing liquid raw materials according to production recipes;
• Checking raw materials, batch numbers, and quantities;
• Moving raw materials using internal transport equipment;
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing and documentation;
• Working in accordance with safety, quality, and hygiene regulations;
• Supporting operators and mixers in preparing production orders;
• Maintaining a clean and organized workplace.

Working Hours:

You will work in a two-shift system:

• Morning shift: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Afternoon/evening shift: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

In return, you will receive an attractive 14% shift allowance on all hours worked. You will work a fixed full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Giessen is an important production site for hybrid sealants, while Roosendaal specializes in adhesives for hygiene products.

Bostik produces over 400 different types of sealants, including:

• Oosterhout: Acrylic and silicone sealants for bathrooms, painting, and construction applications;
• Giessen: Hybrid sealants for the automotive industry and other specialized sectors;
• Roosendaal: Adhesives for hygiene products.

In total, 550 employees work for Bostik Benelux.

• Giessen: 110 FTE, mainly production and warehouse operations, with a small office team including planners and production coordinators.
• Oosterhout: 280 FTE, including 180 employees in production and warehousing and 100 office employees in sales, marketing, HR, finance, and administration.

• Experience in a production environment is an advantage;
• Accurate with a strong eye for quality;
• Physically capable of performing production-related tasks;
• Able to work independently and take responsibility;
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system;
• Good command of the Dutch or English language.
