Production Lead

EMPWR is looking for a decisive and hands-on Production Team Leader who can lead a team, ensure smooth production processes, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for one or more production lines. You will ensure production targets are achieved while creating an environment where employees can perform at their best.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and motivate production employees on a daily basis;
• Ensure optimal staffing levels and workforce planning;
• Deliver production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment;
• Supervise production, changeover, and cleaning activities;
• Analyze KPIs and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities;
• Initiate and lead improvement projects and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs);
• Coordinate operational disruptions with Planning, Quality, and the Technical Department;
• Act as the first point of contact during your shift;
• Support and replace the Production Supervisor when needed.

You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and lead a team of approximately 10 to 40 employees.

• A salary between €4000 and €4800 gross per month, depending on experience;
• Attractive shift allowances on top of your salary;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;

Requirements:

• MBO Level 4 working and thinking level or equivalent;
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment;
• Experience leading or supervising teams;
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office;
• Good command of both Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies;
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
