Packaging Operator

A packaging operator at McCain in Rilland is responsible for carefully packaging and inspecting potato products on the production line. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where quality, pace, and teamwork are key.

As a Packaging Operator at McCain Appetizers, you are responsible for packaging frozen snacks (such as mozzarella sticks and onion rings) efficiently and in accordance with quality standards. You operate the packaging lines and resolve minor malfunctions.

Key duties and responsibilities:

Machine operation: Setting up, reconfiguring, and operating advanced packaging machines and robots.

Quality control: Checking that the snacks and packaging meet strict food safety and quality standards.

Troubleshooting: Resolving minor technical issues and ensuring minimal downtime on the production line.

Administration: Tracking production quantities and quality data.

Hygiene: Complying with strict hygiene regulations and ensuring a clean work environment.

-Starting salary of €17.55 per hour (including ATV allowance, excluding shift differential)

-Shift premium: 33% between 6:00 p.m. and midnight; 35% between midnight and 6:00 a.m.

-25 vacation days
