Order management specialist

As an Order Manager, you will manage sample export orders from start to finish. You will make sure that orders, deliveries, and invoices are processed correctly and on time. You will also check import requirements for vegetable seeds in different countries. Your work will help make sure that field trials and variety registrations can start on time.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage sample export orders from start to finish;
• Make sure orders and deliveries are processed correctly and on time;
• Manage order data and information accurately;
• Be the main contact for customers and colleagues regarding order processing;
• Check import requirements for vegetable seeds in different countries;
• Make sure deliveries arrive on time so that trials can start as planned;
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and international partners;
• Find problems or delays and help to solve them;
• Look for ways to improve processes and ways of working.

• A salary of €19.69 gross per hour;
• A 38-hour working week;
• The possibility to work four days per week, depending on your experience;
• Experience in an international environment with worldwide contacts;
• A temporary contract from 2 November 2026 until 30 April 2027 as maternity cover;
• The position is based in Enkhuizen; working from home is not possible;

You will work in Enkhuizen as part of the Sample Management Team. The team manages sample orders that are sent to customers, partners, and teams around the world. Your work helps make sure vegetable seed samples arrive at the right place and at the right time, so local field trials and variety registrations can go ahead as planned.

• Fluent Dutch and English;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Experience with SAP is a plus;
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• A structured and organized way of working;
• Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and partners in different countries;
• A flexible attitude and ability to work in a changing international environment.
