Customer Care Specialist

As a customer care specialist, you are the main point of contact for your customers. You process orders and returns, and find solutions when something goes wrong. You follow each order through to delivery and keep the customer informed every step of the way.

You enjoy a challenge and like working in a fast-moving environment. You will work for a healthcare customer that supplies products to the healthcare sector, such as syringes, feeding tubes and catheters. The cooperation with this customer is still relatively new, and a lot of work is being done to get all processes up and running smoothly. You can play an important role in this, as you enjoy coming up with ideas to improve processes.

You will be in regular contact with customers and colleagues. You care about providing good customer service and making sure agreements are kept. You work accurately and understand the importance of following procedures carefully.

Your responsibilities:

• Keep track of orders and deliveries and take action when something goes wrong or a delivery is delayed
• Prioritise orders and make sure agreements with customers are met
• Work closely with the warehouse and other departments to resolve questions and issues quickly
• Support the improvement of processes and prepare various reports
• Regularly discuss progress with customers and colleagues and work together to identify areas for improvement

This is a full-time role during office hours. In consultation with your colleagues, you will start between 7:00 and 9:00 in the morning. You will start through Adecco, giving you the opportunity to get to know the company, your colleagues and the role first. If it is a good fit for both sides, the intention is for you to join the company directly after the temporary employment period.

This international logistics service provider is based on the outskirts of Venlo and has several locations nearby. The location is easily accessible by car.

• You have an mbo+ level of education and experience in a similar role
• You have worked in customer service in an international environment
• You have experience with logistics processes and are comfortable using MS Office and other customer systems
• You have good spoken and written English and communicate easily with customers and colleagues
• You work accurately, stay organised and keep a clear overview when things get busy
