E-Bike Technician

For this position, you do not need to have a diploma, but it is important that you are technically skilled and have experience with mechanical work or working in a production environment.

This is a long-term project that offers a lot of freedom and responsibility.

As a Maintenance Employee, you will work on electric bikes in Rotterdam. You make sure they stay in top condition and are ready for use by thousands of people in the city.

You will be trained on the job to become a specialist in the hardware and technology behind these modern means of transport. Over time, you will work independently as a full maintenance employee, repairing, adjusting, and solving technical issues.

This is a varied role with a lot of independence, where you can enjoy working with your hands.

Your tasks include:

• Working with operations software;
• Registering maintenance work via PC or tablet;
• Following safety regulations;
• Inspecting and testing scooters/bikes;
• Ensuring everything meets quality standards;
• Keeping your workplace and inventory clean and organized;
• Assisting with the assembly and delivery of scooters/bikes.

• A salary of €15.50 per hour;
• Additional allowance for working outside regular hours or overtime;
• 25 vacation days per year (based on full-time employment);
• 8% holiday allowance;

The client is located in a central area of Rotterdam and is easily accessible by public transport.

You will start work every day at 07:30 and finish at 16:30.

• You can switch quickly and think in solutions;
• You are flexibly available (including weekends if needed);
• You speak Dutch or fluent English;
• You have basic computer skills;
• You are physically fit (able to lift up to 30 kg, stand for long periods and bend);
• You are motivated, work hard and have a hands-on mentality;
• You don’t get stressed by deadlines or urgent tasks; you stay calm and focused.
