E-bike Operations Employee

Enjoy being on the road, working outdoors and getting things done? As an E-bike Operations Employee, you’ll help keep the e-bikes in Amersfoort safe, clean and ready to ride. You’ll drive around the city, swap batteries and move e-bikes to the locations where they’re needed. No technical experience is required — you’ll receive full training!

You’ll earn €17.72 gross per hour, with additional pay for evening, night and weekend shifts. It’s an active and varied role where you can work independently and contribute to more sustainable mobility.

As an E-bike Operations Employee, you’ll help keep the e-bike fleet in Amersfoort running smoothly. You’ll work both outdoors in the city and at the warehouse. Using a company van, you’ll move e-bikes, swap batteries and make sure vehicles are parked neatly and safely.

What will you do?

• Drive a company van around Amersfoort to collect and relocate e-bikes;
• Swap batteries to make sure e-bikes are ready to ride;
• Carry out basic checks, simple repairs and maintenance;
• Keep e-bikes clean, safe and correctly parked;
• Record your tasks in an operations app.

You’ll receive training to learn the job, so previous mechanical experience isn’t necessary.

• €17.72 gross per hour;
• A 24-hour-per-week contract;
• Full-time training for the first two weeks, working 38 hours per week;
• Extra pay for evening, night, weekend and public holiday shifts;
• A varied, hands-on role with guidance and opportunities to learn.

You’ll be working in an international company on a mission to create quieter, cleaner and more sustainable cities. This company provides shared electric vehicles and helps ensure they are available where and when people need them.

As an E-bike Operations Employee, you’ll play an important part in keeping the fleet well-maintained, charged and available across the city. You’ll work independently at different locations while being part of a team that keeps daily operations running smoothly.

• You have a valid category B driving licence recognised in the Netherlands and feel confident driving a company van;
• You live in or near Amersfoort and can travel independently to the warehouse;
• You can communicate in English with colleagues;
• You’re flexible and willing to work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays;
• You have a hands-on attitude and are able to lift up to 30 kg.

No technical work experience is required. You must have the right to work in the Netherlands and be able to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) before starting.
