Assembly Employee

Help build high-tech systems as an assembly worker at VDL MPC in Amersfoort. You will earn €17,07 gross per hour and work Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 15:45. We are looking for experienced metal fabrication and assembly technicians to join a leading company in the defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling metal housings and structural components used in advanced defense systems.

As an assembly worker, you will build high-quality modules and systems for the defence and high-tech industries, among others. Using technical drawings and work instructions, you will ensure that every component is assembled accurately. 

Your duties will include:

• Assemble and fit metal housings and structures according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Drill holes and create cutouts in metal components.
• Cut, saw, and shape metal parts to the required dimensions.
• Perform basic milling and machining operations.
• Spot weld, tack weld, or join metal components as required.
• Modify metal parts to accommodate internal components, wiring, and assemblies.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical requirements.
• Work in accordance with safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

• €17,07 gross per hour, including ADV allowance, approximately €2,943 gross per month 
• Travel allowance and 8% holiday pay

• Full-time availability 
• Good command of Dutch or English to understand work and safety instructions 
• Proven experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal work, or mechanical assembly.
• Proficiency in drilling, cutting, grinding, milling, and general metalworking techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• The ability to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG). Adecco will reimburse the costs 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the defense, aerospace, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
• Welding or spot-welding experience.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and production standards.
