Who are we looking for:
We are looking for 3–5 experienced workers to join a slaughterhouse operation in Norway. Start date is between Week 34 and Week 36.
Animal Stunning and Slaughter
Experience with livestock stunning and slaughter procedures is required.
A Norwegian certificate of competence is required for this work.
Candidates with documented relevant experience may be eligible for recognition and approval of their qualifications in Norway.
Documented experience using knives, saws during the slaughter process of:
Cattle
Sheep and goats (small livestock)
Pigs
Main Duties
Cleaning and processing carcasses
Removal of stomach/intestines and rectum
Splitting carcasses into halves using appropriate equipment
Sheep Shearing
Documented experience in shearing sheep or other small livestock is required.
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and access to a car are required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Previous slaughterhouse experience is essential.
