Project Manager – Multi-Residential Construction
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of residential construction projects across Alberta. This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background managing multi-family developments from pre-construction through project completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing budgets and schedules, overseeing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Pay Rate: $135,000 - $145,000/year base plus bonus, allowance, benefits, 3 weeks vacation

Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
Manage residential construction projects from planning through completion.
Establish and monitor project schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
Ensure project objectives are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and profitability targets.
Identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to support successful project delivery.
Construction Planning & Execution
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
Coordinate activities between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Manage procurement processes to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on schedule.
Review and administer change orders, project costs, and budget forecasts.
Site & Stakeholder Management
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trades, and project partners.
Facilitate project meetings and provide timely project updates.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and support a strong safety culture across all project sites.
Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, permits, and occupational health and safety requirements.
Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to company standards and contractual obligations.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of project activities, communications, budgets, schedules, and progress.
Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Utilize construction management software and project controls to support project execution and reporting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing residential or multi-family construction projects.
Proven experience overseeing projects from planning through completion.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, project controls, scheduling, and budgeting.
Knowledge of Alberta building codes, construction regulations, and industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and project partners.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Experience with construction management and project scheduling software is considered an asset, including:
