The position also provides cross-functional technical support and contributes to the development of competitive products, robust process solutions, and continuous technology advancement.

【Candidate Profile】

•PhD education in Physics or related.

•Highly motivated for research and development

•The knowledge or motivation to learn about semiconductor industry and processes

•The knowledge or motivation to learn about the vacuum process, contamination in the semiconductor industry, polymer structure and properties, etc.

•High self-motivation, good communication skills and assertiveness

•Goal-oriented, structured, result-oriented and independent working style as well as the ability to work in a team

•Able to set the right priorities and deliver good results

•Excellent communication skills in English for communication with international partners and documentation purposes

【Responsibilities】

•Continuous development of existing processes and technologies with a high focus on quality and adherence to deadlines

•Research as a source of innovation: collaboration with the related Brooks Automation team, customers, and university/research organizations for the best outcome

•

Precise problem analysis and derivation of suitable solutions

•Run feasibility studies, develop new technical concepts, and investigate their expected performances

•Run feasibility study, prepare protocols for the experiment, and investigate existing ideas

•Provide technical support to other departments when needed (engineering, product management, marketing, sales, etc.)

•Perform scientific and technical assistance

•This position may require some travel to attend conferences, training, and visits to enhance knowledge and professional development.
