- Minimum 3 years’ of service experience in control engineering / industrial automation (conveyors) / maintenance of plant/machinery/material handling equipment
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems
- Experience in pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC will be beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of OH&S requirements.
- Ability to work in isolation, make decisions and be results driven
- Great team player and able to work collaboratively
- Ability to think outside of the box when solving problems

- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance or repair of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Order Fulfilment (OFS) and Sortation systems.
- Communicate effectively with all team members including Service Manager and Service Technicians
- Maintain effective working relationships with all team members.
- Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults and ensure quality of work.
- Report faults in a timely manner to your Service Manager
- Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace.
- Correct utilisation of appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Compliance with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control.
- Active participation in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and correct.
- Actively participate in a safe working culture.
- Inspect completed work to check that repairs are completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards.
- Complete all allocated tasks assigned by Service Manager.
