My client is currently seeking multiple experienced Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established industrial operation in the Hawkes Bay region. The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. This role involves a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and control systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
  • Work with mechanical teams to maintain production reliability
  • Contribute to improvements in safety, efficiency, and reliability
  • One position has the opportunity to lead a team as the Senior electrician on site
  • Ensure all work complies with NZ electrical standards and site safety procedures

 

What We’re Looking For


  • Registered Electrician with current NZ EWRB practicing license
  • Strong experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot motors, drives, PLC systems and control circuits
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a maintenance team
  • Leading a team or supporting the up skilling of junior staff
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
