About the Role

You’ll work across residential and commercial civil sites installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems. The work includes large-diameter pipework ranging 150mm to 400–600mm across PE, PVC, and concrete systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining stormwater and wastewater systems
• Working with large pipe diameters (150mm–400/600mm)
• Reading and interpreting site plans and specifications
• Assisting with excavation and operating small machinery
• Excavator operating experience is a strong bonus
• Completing work to NZ compliance
• Working closely with site supervisors and the wider team

What We’re Looking For

• General Labourer Drainlayer
• Experience with large-diameter pipework (400–600mm ideal)
• Solid knowledge of NZ drainage regulations
• Full NZ class 1 driver’s licence (WTR highly advantageous)
• Excavator operating experience beneficial but not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices
• Able to work independently and within a crew
