Adecco is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Class 4 Driver Operator to join a busy civil maintenance team based in Wainui, Auckland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating heavy machinery, and contributing to the maintenance and improvement of essential infrastructure throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Class 4 Driver Operator, you will be involved in a variety of civil maintenance and construction activities. The role combines driving, machinery operation, and hands on civil work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse and active work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating Class 4 tipper trucks safely and efficiently
• Operating civil plant and machinery including rollers and loaders
• Supporting maintenance activities on unsealed roads, footpaths, kerb and channel, and landscaping projects
• Assisting with site preparation and general civil construction tasks
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and standards
• Working effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently when required

What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Full New Zealand Class 4 Driver Licence
• Previous experience in civil construction, road maintenance, or infrastructure projects
• Experience operating civil machinery and plant equipment
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Good level of physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
