Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator - Counter balance and Clamp Truck

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator - Counter balance and Clamp Truck to support daily distribution centre operations in the NW of Edmonton, which is only accessible by car, no transit is available. This role involves receiving, storing, picking, and shipping customer orders while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced environment.
This position is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience operating material handling equipment and performing physically active work. Experience on Clamp Forklift and Ticket is required for this position.
Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.00/hour
Location: Edmonton, AB (not transit accessible)
Shift: 7:30am – 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately
Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies
Complete required documentation (pick sheets, manifests, unloading lists)
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers
Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Support quality and regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, etc.)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
Experience operating material handling equipment (asset)
Experience on Clamp Forklift and Ticket is required
Experience with counterbalance forklift
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer and scanning system knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
Safety-focused mindset
Reliable with strong attendance
Proactive and adaptable
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Commitment to continuous improvement
Physically demanding role (lifting up to 50 lbs)
Repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching
Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
