Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to join our client's dynamic distribution team. You will be responsible for order picking, shipping and receiving activities, inventory movement, and operating material handling equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift, Reach Truck, and Order Picker.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using material handling equipment.

  • Operate forklifts, including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Order Picker equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.

  • Sort, process, and distribute incoming shipments.

  • Pick and pack orders manually or using automated systems such as the Exotec picking system and CMC packing machine.

  • Create and apply shipping labels to products and shipments.

  • Assemble products onto pallets, warehouse trucks, racks, or shelving units.

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to missing shipments, deliveries, or documentation.

  • Report inventory discrepancies and operational issues to the immediate supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), workplace policies, and safety protocols.

  • Promptly report workplace hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience.

  • Experience working with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.

  • Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices.

  • Valid forklift experience operating:

    • Counterbalance Forklift

    • Narrow Aisle Reach Truck

    • Order Picker

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience operating material handling equipment in tight or congested spaces.

  • Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) without assistance.

  • Ability to use proper ergonomic techniques for lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
