Test Technician - Manufacturing (afternoons)

Adecco is currently hiring a Test Technician for a full-time opportunity in Mississauga, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electronic assembly, troubleshooting, testing, calibration, manufacturing, and power electronics who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, calibrating, assembling, and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical components to ensure products meet quality and performance specifications. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing processes, testing procedures, and electronic systems.

Please note: This position requires CGP security clearance eligibility and is open to Canadian Citizens only.

• Pay rate: $25.15/hour

• Location: Mississauga, ON

• Shifts: Afternoon shifts available | 3:00pm - 11:30pm

• Job type: Temporary with possibility of Permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Test, calibrate, and assemble electronic and mechanical components to product specifications.

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve product issues.

• Work from engineering drawings, specifications, and test documentation.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.

• Perform preventative maintenance checks and support quality inspections.

• Complete production, testing, and inventory-related documentation accurately.

• Collaborate with team members to improve quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

• Follow all manufacturing, quality, ESD, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• College diploma, technical diploma, degree, or equivalent military experience.

• Experience in electronic assembly, manufacturing, testing, or troubleshooting.

• Experience troubleshooting electronic systems down to the component level.

• Knowledge of analog and digital power electronics.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and written work instructions.

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Comfortable using measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Flexibility to work alternate shifts when required.

• Must successfully obtain and maintain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen.
