Shipping & Receiving Associate

Adecco is currently looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to work part-time hours for our client located in West End - Ottawa. This would be 25-35 hours a week, with some flexibility for which days are worked. • Pay rate: $18.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack shipments of materials and grocery items to be unloaded to storage;

• To prepare appropriate documents and maintain records

• To ensure that all shipments are accurately and properly prepared to the customer's destination

• Unloading and loading trucks with tires

• Some cleaning

• Other Duties as assigned

The Retail Receiver must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Must hold a at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED;

• Availability to work within 8:00 – 19:00 Monday to Sunday;

• Written, Oral and Spoken communication skills in English;

• Basic Physical abilities (lifting boxes up to 50 lbs);

• Strong attention to detail and data reporting skills;

• Experience in assembly/sawdering would be considered an asset;
