Retail Representative

Adecco is currently hiring a part-time Retail Representative for our client in Windsor, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused professional who enjoys working independently, building relationships, and supporting leading consumer brands at the retail level.
In this field-based role, you will represent a portfolio of food brands, execute merchandising and promotional programs, and develop strong relationships with retail partners throughout Windsor and surrounding areas.

• Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

• Location: Windsor, ON

• Shift: Retail store visits conducted between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

• Job type: Temporary | Part-time 3-4 days per week

Responsibilities:
Brand Representation & Retail Execution

• Represent the company and its clients throughout Windsor and surrounding areas

• Execute and monitor in-store marketing initiatives, including promotional displays, coupon programs, and signage placement

• Maximize product visibility and sales through effective merchandising practices

• Ensure retail execution standards are consistently met

Territory Coverage & Reporting

• Service retail stores according to an assigned territory coverage plan

• Complete electronic reporting using a company-provided tablet

• Gather and report competitive intelligence and marketplace insights

• Submit retail pricing reports, call reports, and expense reports accurately and on time

Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with store personnel and department managers

• Deliver professional and courteous service while maintaining high standards of customer support

• Serve as a trusted resource for retail partners by identifying opportunities and helping resolve issues

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

• Highly organized with strong time-management skills

• Professional presentation and communication skills

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

• Comfortable using tablets and mobile technology for reporting

• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required

• Previous experience in merchandising, retail, territory sales, customer service, or account support is considered an asset

• Understanding of basic marketing principles is considered an asset

• Post-secondary education is considered an asset

• Residence within the Windsor territory is preferred

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
