Quality Inspector

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Quality Inspector for our client Sanmina in Ottawa, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with experience in manufacturing, electronics, or inspection environments who is passionate about ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products, identifying non-conformances, supporting inventory control activities, and working closely with Engineering and Production teams to drive continuous improvement.
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Responsibilities:
Quality Inspection
Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products
Verify products meet established quality standards, specifications, and procedures
Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming materials
Complete inspection records and quality documentation accurately
Apply quality procedures, checklists, and inspection requirements consistently
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Identify quality issues and documentation discrepancies
Escalate concerns to Engineering and Technical Support teams
Assist with investigations and root cause analysis activities
Recommend process and quality improvements
Support continuous improvement initiatives with Engineering and Manufacturing teams
Documentation & Compliance
Read and interpret assembly documentation, process instructions, engineering changes, and work orders
Identify and apply Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and modifications
Record inspection and production data accurately
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and procedures
Inventory & Production Support
Support inventory control and cycle count activities
Perform required computer transactions and inventory updates
Assist with cable and harness assembly when required
Prepare components and materials for production
Support manufacturing and operational activities as needed
Safety
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company policies and performance standards
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in quality inspection, quality control, electronics manufacturing, or a related field
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience identifying and documenting non-conforming materials
Familiarity with inventory control and cycle counting processes
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills and experience entering data accurately
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Experience with cable and harness assembly is considered an asset
Manufacturing or electronics industry experience is considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
