Adecco is currently hiring Packaging associates for our client in Belleville, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-focused individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and packaging environment.

As a Packaging associate, you will support printing, converting, packaging, and production operations while helping ensure product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

  • Pay Rate: $18.60 - $19.60/hour

  • Location: Belleville, ON

  • Shift: No rotation | Monday to Friday 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM OR 2:15 PM to 10:30 PM | Sunday to Thursday 10:15 PM to 6:30 AM

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time and Part-time available

Responsibilities:
Production Support

  • Assist senior Converting and Press personnel with daily production activities

  • Prepare packaging materials and stage production supplies

  • Support printing, converting, and prepress operations as required

  • Assist in wash-up and equipment cleaning activities

Quality Control

  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process

  • Conduct inspections and testing according to quality plans

  • Document inspection results and production data accurately

  • Ensure products are packaged, wrapped, and labeled correctly

Production Tracking

  • Track production quantities, scrap, and output weights

  • Record production information using computer systems and required paperwork

  • Transfer important production information between shifts

  • Dispose of scrap materials according to procedures

Housekeeping & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) activities

  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards

  • Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the shift

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (proof required)

  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check

  • Previous packaging or manufacturing experience is considered an asset

  • CSA-approved safety shoes required

  • Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable and able to work independently

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
