Adecco is currently hiring Packaging associates for our client in Belleville, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and safety-focused individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and packaging environment.
As a Packaging associate, you will support printing, converting, packaging, and production operations while helping ensure product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety.
Pay Rate: $18.60 - $19.60/hour
Location: Belleville, ON
Shift: No rotation | Monday to Friday 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM OR 2:15 PM to 10:30 PM | Sunday to Thursday 10:15 PM to 6:30 AM
Job type: Temporary | Full-time and Part-time available

Responsibilities:
Production Support
Assist senior Converting and Press personnel with daily production activities
Prepare packaging materials and stage production supplies
Support printing, converting, and prepress operations as required
Assist in wash-up and equipment cleaning activities
Quality Control
Monitor product quality throughout the production process
Conduct inspections and testing according to quality plans
Document inspection results and production data accurately
Ensure products are packaged, wrapped, and labeled correctly
Production Tracking
Track production quantities, scrap, and output weights
Record production information using computer systems and required paperwork
Transfer important production information between shifts
Dispose of scrap materials according to procedures
Housekeeping & Safety
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) activities
Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards
Perform general housekeeping duties throughout the shift
Qualifications and Skills:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent (proof required)
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
Previous packaging or manufacturing experience is considered an asset
CSA-approved safety shoes required
Ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and able to work independently
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
