Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time detail-oriented and organized MRO Coordinator to join our client’s team in Ajax, ON. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating with the planner the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop, along with materials and resources. If you have strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, we are looking for you!

* As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $24.00/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Shift: Monday- Thursday 730AM-4PM Fridays 730-1230

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 24-month contract

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating with the planner the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop.

  • Ensure the availability of parts to meet flow requirements as well as customer expectations bull Assist with Work Order Management in SAP.

  • Coordinate unplanned activities including raising rework travelers performing work order splits in SAP liaising with Manufacturing Engineers and supporting other functions in the company to maintain site OTD requirements.

  • Update/improve administrative and reporting tools in order to reduce non-value-added work.

  • Create maintain and publish daily/weekly status reports as required. bull Support dominant work centres with data administration for inspection plans.

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering/Business/Operations or related field

  • Proficient computer skills experience in administrative functions

  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Microsoft Office software - advanced Excel Skills basic understanding of Engineering drawings previous experience with MRP II / SAP software an asset

  •  Previous experience in production planning

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
