Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Journeyperson Electrician for our client in NE Calgary, AB. We are looking for a skilled and safety-focused maintenance professional with strong experience in automation, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician who enjoys working with automated equipment, solving complex technical issues, and contributing to the reliability and performance of a fast-paced operation.
Pay Rate: $38.00 - $43.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: NE Calgary, AB
Shift: Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Job type: Temporary to Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair automated equipment and systems
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance
Support machine installations, upgrades, and modifications
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
Monitor equipment performance and implement solutions to minimize downtime
Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment and operational issues
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and system performance
Qualifications and Skills:
Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (or equivalent certification) required
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience, ideally automation
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
Ability to read and edit electrical and mechanical drawings
Experience with SSI automation systems is considered an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver's licence required
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
