This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, sales support, or business development who enjoys building strong customer relationships, preparing quotations, coordinating orders, and driving sales growth.

Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 per year

Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support long-term business growth.
Conduct outbound sales calls and identify new business opportunities.
Prepare, present, and follow up on customer quotations.
Close sales opportunities while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable product solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
Quotation & Pricing Management
Review customer specifications and project requirements.
Source pricing and product availability from manufacturers and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing and delivery terms when required.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for stock and non-stock products.
Evaluate alternative products and recommend suitable substitutions.
Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and market conditions.
Order Processing & Customer Support
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate deliveries, transportation, invoicing, and billing requirements.
Track order status and proactively resolve issues or delays.
Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Utilize Excel and other business tools to track sales activities, orders, and quotations.
Analyze pricing trends and sales performance data.
Generate reports and insights to support business decisions.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
CRM & Sales Systems
Maintain customer and opportunity information within CRM platforms, including Lighthouse Share and similar sales management tools.
Track sales opportunities and document customer communications.
Assist with large bid opportunities by comparing vendor pricing and evaluating multiple manufacturer options.
Inventory & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Verify inventory availability and communicate stock concerns to management.
Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, warehouse teams, suppliers, and category managers.
Provide timely updates regarding pricing changes, inventory availability, and delivery timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years of inside sales, customer service, sales support, account management, or related experience.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using CRM systems and sales management tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
