General Labour Pickers

Adecco is hiring full-time General Labour Pickers at the Canadian Tire Distribution Center located in Brampton, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for accurately selecting, sorting, and preparing merchandise for delivery to retail stores while ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.

• Pay rate: $18.40 up to $19.00/hour

• Start date: Immediate

• Location: Brampton, ON

• Shifts: 5:45am – 3:45pm, OR 3:45pm – 1:45am.

• Schedule: Rotational:  Saturday - Tuesday OR Thursday - Sunday

• Job type: Full-time, long term with permanent opportunities.

General Labour Picker Responsibilities:

• Walking, Bending, Lifting, and Standing for 10 hours shift.

• Prepare merchandise by filling, and sorting, as per requested by retail stores

• No power equipment use required

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., sometime throughout the shift

• Must be comfortable to use talk-man (headset) technology for picking, packing & filing

• Working on high levels which goes up to 4 levels or more

General Labour Picker Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

• Available to work 40 hours/week and occasional weekends

• Experience in a warehouse as a picker/packer, warehouse worker, general labour or laborer would be an asset

• Must pass a criminal background check

• Must be legally eligible to work and, reside in Canada

• Bus Accessible location
