Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Forklift Operator for our client in Belleville, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator with strong warehouse and shipping/receiving experience to join a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.

You will be responsible for safely moving materials throughout the facility, supporting shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are stored and handled according to company standards.

• Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

• Location: Belleville, ON

• Shift: Rotating shifts | Monday to Friday

  • Days: 6:15 AM - 2:30 PM

  • Afternoons: 2:15 PM - 10:30 PM

  • Nights: 10:15 PM - 6:30 AM

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas

• Load, unload, store, label, and scan products accurately

• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions

• Perform daily forklift safety inspections

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments

• Update inventory and shipping records using SAP and warehouse systems

• Ensure products are stored safely and correctly

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Level 3 Forklift License required

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse and forklift experience

• Experience using SAP for shipping, receiving, or inventory transactions

• Experience using computerized warehouse management systems

• Ability to provide work references confirming forklift experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work rotating day, afternoon, and midnight shifts

• Ability to pass a criminal background check

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
