Adecco is currently hiring an Environmental Operations Advisor to support our client's upstream oil and gas operations for our client in Lloydminster, SK.
This is an exciting opportunity for an environmental professional with experience in environmental compliance, remediation, environmental monitoring, spill response, and regulatory reporting. Acting as the environmental subject matter expert for assigned assets, you will work closely with Operations, Development, and Environmental teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate standards.
This position requires candidates to reside within commuting distance of the Lloydminster area.
Payrate: $45 to $75/hour (depends on level of experience)
Location: Lloydminster, SK | Travel: Regular travel to field locations required
Shift: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Environmental Compliance & Regulatory Support
Provide environmental guidance to operations, maintenance, and development teams.
Ensure compliance with Alberta and Saskatchewan environmental regulations and corporate standards.
Support regulatory applications, notifications, inspections, audits, and reporting requirements.
Maintain environmental records, documentation, and compliance tracking systems.
Environmental Monitoring & Stewardship
Coordinate environmental monitoring programs, including soil, groundwater, surface water, vegetation, air quality
Support environmental stewardship initiatives and contaminated site management programs.
Review environmental data and recommend corrective actions where required.
Incident Response & Remediation
Coordinate environmental incident response activities, including spills, releases, and non-routine flaring events.
Manage regulatory notifications and reporting requirements following environmental incidents.
Lead remediation projects from initial response through regulatory closure.
Support incident investigations and corrective action planning.
Field Operations Support
Provide environmental support for construction, maintenance, and development projects.
Coordinate environmental contractors, consultants, and technical specialists.
Conduct site visits and field inspections to verify compliance and environmental performance.
Build positive working relationships with regulators, landowners, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Agrology, Biology, Natural Sciences or Related Environmental Discipline
Minimum 2 years of environmental experience supporting oil and gas, industrial, energy, mining, or infrastructure operations.
Experience with Environmental compliance, Spill response, Environmental monitoring, Remediation projects, Regulatory reporting
Direct field experience is preferred.
Registration or eligibility for registration with a recognized professional association is preferred, including P.Ag., R.T.Ag., P.Biol., EP
Understanding of Alberta and Saskatchewan environmental regulations.
Knowledge of environmental assessment and environmental impact principles.
Experience with contaminated sites management and environmental monitoring programs.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must successfully complete pre-access medical, alcohol, and drug testing requirements.
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a satisfactory driving record.
This position has been identified as safety-sensitive.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
