Adecco is currently recruiting a Document Scanning Clerk for a temporary assignment in North York, Ontario. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in data entry, records management, document processing, scanning, or office administration who thrive in an organized and fast-paced environment.

As a Document Scanning Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting a records digitization project by converting paper files into electronic records while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and data integrity.

  • Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

  • Location: North York, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Friday| 8-hour shifts

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time |2-3weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Scan physical documents and convert them into digital records

  • Verify scanned files for accuracy, readability, and completeness

  • Organize, index, and maintain electronic records according to established procedures

  • Perform quality assurance checks on scanned documents

  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism

  • Ensure proper document storage and file organization

  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace

  • Follow company procedures for records management and document control

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Reliable, professional, and highly dependable

  • Preferred Experience in the following areas:

    • Document scanning

    • Records management

    • Data entry

    • Administrative support

    • File management

    • Office administration

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
