Document Control Specialist

Adecco is currently hiring a Document Control Specialist for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in document control, mail processing, document scanning, records management, quality assurance, and data entry.
You will support daily document processing activities, including sorting, preparing, scanning, and quality-checking documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Location: Ottawa, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job type: Temporary 3 months with possibility of extension | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Sort, prepare, scan, and process incoming documents and mail.
Review documents to ensure proper classification and handling.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
Process service requests and support document control activities.
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure documents are scanned and processed correctly.
Identify errors and communicate findings to Leads and Supervisors.
Follow established document control procedures and operational guidelines.
Prioritize workload and adjust to changing priorities throughout the day.
Support risk management and compliance requirements.
Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience in document processing, mailroom operations, records management, or administrative support is considered an asset.
Experience handling service requests, escalations, or document workflows is considered an asset.
Knowledge of document control procedures and scanning processes is considered an asset.
Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of documents.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
