Distribution Team Lead

Adecco is currently hiring a Distribution Team Lead for a full-time opportunity in Belleville, ON. This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse or logistics professional with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Working closely with the Supervisor, you will help lead daily operations, coach team members, ensure service level agreements are met, and promote a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
Pay Rate: $62,000 to 64,000 per year

Responsibilities:
Lead and support warehouse associates across inbound, outbound, returns, inventory control, and value-added services
Execute daily operational priorities and work schedules
Train, coach, and support team members to ensure productivity and accuracy
Serve as a point of contact for staff in the absence of supervisory personnel
Monitor workflow and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved
Promote workplace health and safety standards and company procedures
Support employee performance, engagement, and development
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational success
Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and implementing solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment
Previous team lead, lead hand, or supervisory experience
Experience with SAP, WMS, MRP, or other warehouse management systems
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of distribution KPIs and warehouse performance metrics
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is considered an asset
Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Business is considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
