Adecco, Canada, part of the world’s leading workforce solutions company, announces its achievement of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 [ISO/IEC 27001] recertification, the global gold standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), created by the International Standard Organization (ISO). This recertification highlights Adecco’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security for its colleagues, clients and candidates.

“Achieving the ISO/IEC 27001 recertification is a testament to our ongoing dedication to protecting the information of our colleagues, clients and candidates,” said Geno Cutolo, president of Adecco North America. "For us, it’s not just about compliance—it’s about keeping our people and customers at the heart of our work every day.”

The ISO/IEC 27001 standard provides companies of all sizes and industries with a comprehensive framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an ISMS. By achieving this certification, companies demonstrate that they have a robust system to manage risks related to the security of data owned or handled by the organization, adhering to the best practices and principles outlined in this international standard.

In today’s digital age, where cyber-crime and other security threats are a constant reality, ISO/IEC 27001 enables companies to proactively identify and mitigate these risks. The certification takes a holistic approach to information security, ensuring that people, policies and technology are all thoroughly vetted. It also reassures stakeholders that the organization has implemented an ISMS designed to enhance risk management, strengthen cyber-resilience and drive operational excellence.

Adecco first achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification on August 23, 2021 and undergoes recertification every three years. By staying ahead of emerging digital threats and maintaining rigorous data protection measures, Adecco continues to provide peace of mind to its colleagues, clients and candidates.
