【Responsibilities】
Sustaining Solution Management
- Own solution‑level system management for products in sustaining phase.
- Ensure stability, quality, and system coherence across sustaining platforms.
- Act as the primary interface across sustaining, software, and system stakeholders.
Platform Backup & Cross‑Platform Tracking
- Serve as backup system manager from a platform perspective across multiple NPI platforms.
- Track platform milestones, dependencies, and differentiation status.
- Highlight platform readiness and differentiation timing to ensure risks, delays, or opportunities are visible and addressed.
Platform Readiness & Phase Exit Governance
- Track and manage platform readiness for SWFF, SI, and PV phase exits.
- Identify readiness gaps, dependency risks, and execution issues impacting sustaining.
- Partner with NPI and planning system managers to ensure clean phase exits and reduced downstream sustaining impact.
Quality Ownership – Sustaining Scope
- Track and manage quality issues related to sustaining scope, including internal and customer escalations (e.g., 3LS, company project).
- Ensure quality risks are visible, escalated appropriately, and driven to closure.
- Monitor systemic quality trends affecting delivery and customer experience.
Sustaining Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the sustaining team to understand workload, capacity, and key pain points impacting delivery or quality.
- Act as host between sustaining and software teams when new features are proposed to enter sustaining scope.
- Ensure feature phase‑ins are limited, justified, and minimally disruptive.
Post‑RTP Experience & Curation Partnership
- Partner with the curation team to support post‑RTP experience surveys.
- Analyze customer and usage feedback to identify system‑level gaps versus intended experience.
- Translate insights into actionable improvements.
Post‑Mortem, Lessons Learned & Continuous Improvement
- Drive lesson‑learned reviews based on sustaining quality issues and escalations.
- Feed insights back into NPI planning and execution to improve feature definition, scheduling, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure learnings are documented and applied consistently.
【Candidate Profile】
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in system, solution, or platform management roles.
- Experience managing products across NPI, RTP, and sustaining lifecycle phases.
- Proven experience in quality issue management and cross‑team escalation handling.
- Strong understanding of HW/SW/FW integration and platform dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with phase‑gate frameworks such as SWFF, SI, and PV.
- Background in post‑RTP experience analysis or customer quality feedback loops.
- Prior experience as a system manager, platform lead, or chief engineer.
- Familiarity with enterprise‑scale escalation models (e.g., 3LS, customer quality programs).
