採購與供應鏈
【Team Overview】
The Global ODM Fulfillment Operations team within the Global Supply Chain Operations (GSCO) group is responsible for teaming with our supply chain partners to build, deliver, and enable AI, Compute, and Storage infrastructure. Our computing foundation is our data centers, and key strategic partnerships with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) across the Compute and Storage industry are a crucial piece in building and operationalizing this infrastructure.
The Global ODM Fulfillment Operations team manages the operational performance of these ODM partners by setting key performance metrics, ensuring operational success, and driving performance improvement programs across the supply chain. The team is inherently dynamic, requiring close coordination across engineering, NPI, mass production, and sustaining teams, often simultaneously within a single product cycle.
【Required Qualifications】
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in procurement, operations, or supply chain management, preferably in the technology or hardware industry.
- Familiarity with NPI processes and hardware product development lifecycles (EVT/DVT/PVT).
- Ability to dive deep into complex data sets, distill key findings, and inform decisions under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Experience working across multi-disciplinary teams and partners in different time zones.
- Language: Mandarin proficiency highly desired; English fluency required.
【Preferred Qualifications】
- Previous experience in data center hardware manufacturing, compute/storage systems, or AI infrastructure.
- Familiarity with ODM ecosystems in Taiwan and supply chain dynamics for high-complexity rack builds.
- Experience supporting ECO/ECN processes and BOM validation in an NPI environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring independent judgment and rapid problem-solving.
- Experience interfacing with internal and external partners across engineering, procurement, and operations functions.
【Job Summary】
The NPI Materials Coordinator will play a critical role in enabling successful prototype and pilot builds of compute, storage, and AI rack infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing materials readiness across NPI build phases (EVT/DVT/PVT), coordinating closely with ODM partners, commodity teams, and internal engineering stakeholders to ensure the right parts are available at the right time — supporting a smooth transition from NPI into mass production.
【Key Responsibilities】
NPI Build Materials Readiness
- Coordinate materials procurement and logistics across full BOM for EVT, DVT, and PVT build phases, including L6/L10/L11 components.
- Track and manage long-lead and scarce engineering samples, ensuring availability aligns with build schedules.
- Place and manage purchase orders (POs) to ODMs and suppliers as directed.
BOM Validation & Engineering Change Support
- Partner with NPI engineers to validate BOMs ahead of each build phase, flagging gaps, mismatches, or unqualified parts early.
- Support engineering change order (ECO/ECN) execution, ensuring material updates are reflected accurately and procured in time.
- Coordinate part qualification timelines with commodity and supplier teams.
Materials Planning & Build Readiness
- Collaborate with ODMs and supply/demand planning teams to maintain accurate subcomponent supply data across NPI programs.
- Drive Clear To Build (CTB) readiness for each prototype phase, proactively resolving material gaps.
- Maintain MRP accuracy and ensure compliance with NPI build forecasts and purchase orders.
Risk Management & Mitigation
- Proactively identify, escalate, and help mitigate material risks including shortages, long-lead items, and supplier constraints specific to low-volume NPI builds.
- Engage with commodity vendors and ODM partners to manage supply risk during engineering build phases.
Supplier & ODM Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with ODM partners, component suppliers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and logistics.
- Manage and report supplier manufacturing schedules and sample delivery commitments against NPI milestones.
NPI-to-MP Transition Support
- Support the handoff of materials strategy from NPI into mass production, ensuring continuity of supply, BOM accuracy, and supplier readiness at scale.
- Collaborate with inventory leads to ensure optimal stock positioning at ODMs and 3PLs ahead of ramp.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze supply/demand and MRP data to inform NPI material planning decisions.
- Develop and track KPIs across material readiness, PO placement, and build phase performance.
- Provide regular status reporting to internal stakeholders on materials risk and build readiness.
