Key Competencies:

• Ensure full compliance with Korean chemical regulations, including MOE requirements and K-REACH guidelines
• Oversee the registration and notification processes for both existing and new chemical substances
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and manage product registration procedures
• Maintain regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle, including labeling validation, review of marketing materials, and change management
• Track and monitor imported chemical volumes to ensure adherence to regulatory thresholds
• Provide regulatory advice and interpretation to internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain
• Stay up to date on regulatory changes in Korea and globally, and evaluate their potential business impact
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and align regulatory strategies
• Assist with regulatory documentation and submissions for export markets when required

An Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
• 7–12 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs related to chemical substances (K-REACH) and/or consumer chemical products regulated by the Korean MOE
• Prior experience with K-BPR (e.g., biocidal products or insecticides) is an advantage
• Fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems effectively and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
