JOB PURPOSE:
To assure a continuous production in the sterilization area. Loading and unloading sterilization vessels on time to avoid
downtime in manufacturing areas. Repairs and maintains sterilizers and mechanical equipment in the sterilization area.
Perform all duties with strict observance to Safety Regulations, cGMP's, cSOPs, cGDP's and other internal and external
regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Fill out all documentation at sterilized vessels.
• Fill out all the reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance to the sterilizers.
• Able to work at any shift.
• Handle multiple tasks.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Team worked oriented.
• Takes the samples of the process.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Perform calibrations to instruments and trouble shoots control panel area.
• Able to work within minimum supervision.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Sterilization Cycles Continuous Monitoring.
• Load, unloads and product movement on sterilization trucks.
• Maintain Baxter’s commitment to high standards for compliance, enthusiasm and business integrity.
• Able to work with many projects and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Able to work Holidays, extra hours, or any shift when required (e.g. Shutdowns, external audits-FDA, ISO 9002,
Corporate-, special projects).
• Must keep the work area clean and in order conditions


QUALIFICATIONS:
• EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Electronics or Instrumentation with one (1) year of related experience in the steam
sterilization area
• Available to work third shift (Shift C) Wednesday-Sunday
•Available to work overtime


WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving
mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather
conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work
environment is usually loud.

• SAFETY EQUIPMENT and/or EQUIPMENT
The employee is required to use the appropriate Safety Equipment that Baxter requires to comply with all Safety
and Security rules (in Regulated Areas), such as: safety glasses, safety shoes, uniform, special safety suit,
gloves, etc. The incumbent must be use industrial and non-industrial computerized equipment; manufacturing
equipment; telephone; office supply; computer; control panels; Heise; Dead Weight Tester; RTD; Voltage
Standard; small precision tools; soldering equipmen



Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
