Customer Service Representative

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional phone support to members and healthcare providers, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.

• Accurately document all interactions and relevant information in computer systems.

• Research complex issues across multiple databases to provide informed solutions.

• Collaborate with support teams to resolve escalated problems swiftly and efficiently.

• Assist customers in navigating UnitedHealth Group websites, empowering them to become more self-sufficient.

• Contact healthcare providers on behalf of customers to schedule appointments or connect them with internal specialists as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Prior healthcare experience preferred but not mandatory.

• Data entry experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of medical or health insurance industry terminology is advantageous.

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in problem-solving environments or in an office setting using phone and computer as primary tools.

• Proficiency in Windows PC navigation and comfortable working across multiple systems.

• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is required to serve our diverse community effectively.
