Product Master Data Specialist (SAP)

The Product Master Data Specialist (SAP) is responsible for the creation, maintenance, enrichment, and governance of product master data across business systems. This role ensures data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards while supporting SAP integration, troubleshooting data issues, and maintaining smooth data flow across interconnected systems.

Job Description

Product Master Data Management

• In charge of the creation and the update/enrichment of product master data according to the requirements and in compliance with agreed guidelines and standards.

• Ensure the completeness and quality of the master data and participate to the continuous improvement of the process.

• To trouble-shoot and find solutions to any issue related SAP integration and flow including but not limited to inbound & invoice integration.

• Report to the Product Master Data Manager.

Request Management

• Process data product requests for code creation / edition / enrichment / update / closure.

• Request for additional information if request is incorrect/incomplete/does not respect the process.

• Ensure the correct publication of the master data creation / update to all systems.

• Ensure timely resolution of requests and support complex master data cases when required.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Execute data quality controls identified by CoO Quality Engineer and record progress on regular basis.

• Alert in case of Data quality degradation.

• Report data delay, issue to local business team.

• Fix data issue generated by data pool or raise ticket for data correction to allow data re-publication.

Project Support

• On demand, get involved in projects led by Project Lead.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Science, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 years of solid experience in Product Master Data, Material Master Data, Item Master Data, or Data Governance.

• Hands-on experience using SAP for master data creation, maintenance, and updates.

• Experience handling product code creation, product information maintenance, and data quality management.

• Familiarity with SAP integration processes and troubleshooting data flow issues.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and business users.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Preferred background: FMCG, Consumer Goods, Pharmaceutical, 3PL, Supply Chain & Retail
