Working Day/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:30AM - 5:30PM
Salary: Basic up to RM6,000 (Based on experience + skills) with statutory contribution + medical insurance + leave entitlement
Position Summary
The Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of human resources functions at the company, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, attendance, and accurately maintaining records. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role assists in implementing department policies and procedures that align with operational needs, and company standards. This role plays a key role in facilitating engagement, supporting performance management processes, and ensuring a positive and efficient human resources experience for all Team Members.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the development and management of manpower plans that align with the requirements in a dynamic attraction environment. Assist in monitoring staffing levels, rostering efficiency, overtime, and reporting to the HR Manager for operational effectiveness. Contribute to pre-opening recruitment, ramp-up activities, and post-opening stabilization phases, ensuring workforce requirements are met during critical periods and assist in aligning workforce plans with approved budgets.
- Assist with job descriptions, hiring timelines, and selection criteria to align recruitment efforts with operational needs. Oversee onboarding and induction programs for new joiners, ensuring all documentation is complete and new Team Members are effectively integrated into the organization.
- Assist in addressing employee relations matters and escalate complex issues to the management as needed. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with service excellence. Contributes to engagement initiatives, internal communications, and employee well-being programs, assisting in activities that boost morale and retention. Maintain accurate records and support compliance with company standards.
- Assists in overseeing performance appraisal processes and probation confirmations, ensuring accurate documentation. Support service culture, safety, and compliance-related training programs, helping to embed standards across all operational roles. Track training completion and competency requirements, maintaining updated records to ensure all Team Members meet necessary qualifications and compliance standards.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with HR policies by supporting accurate record-keeping and documentation. Maintain updated HR documentation and employee handbooks, ensuring all materials reflect current regulations and practices. Contribute to identifying HR-related risks and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures under the guidance of the management.
- Assist in monthly payroll preparation by compiling attendance, overtime, leave and allowances data. Support administration of employee benefits including leave management, insurance and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS). Coordinate payroll queries and liaise with Finance or external payroll providers when required.
- Support day-to-day HR system operations including HRMS. Preparing reports ensuring accurate and timely data for review. Provide insights and recommendations to the management, contributing to informed decision-making on workforce planning and cost optimization.
Qualification
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1+ Years in HR administration or generalist support roles.
- HR experience within hospitality, attractions, retail, tourism or service-driven environments.
- Strong knowledge in manpower planning, employee relations and operational HR.
- Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements is essential.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- 3+ years of HR executive experience in theme parks, visitor attractions, or large-scale entertainment venues.
