· Settlement and clearing
· Cash management and liquidity-related operational flows
· Static data and market data maintenance
· Trade, cash, and position reconciliation
· Tax reporting and related operational support
· Regulatory reporting and control obligations
· Syndicate support for equity and debt capital market transactions
· New product onboarding and BAU integration
· Operational risk and control framework enhancement
· Lead and oversee end-to-end operations support across settlement and clearing, cash management, static data maintenance, reconciliation, tax reporting, regulatory reporting, and client servicing activities for a wide range of products and clients
· Manage daily operational support for Global Markets, institutional, private wealth management, and retail businesses across asset classes including OTC derivatives, structured and vanilla products, futures and options, cash securities, virtual assets, and primary market transactions such as IPOs, placements, and debt
· Ensure timely and accurate execution of securities and cash settlement across domestic, cross-border, and overseas markets, including coordination with brokers, prime brokers, custodians, global custodians, exchanges, clearing houses, and international central securities depositories such as Euroclear and Clearstream.
· Oversee pre-settlement matching, confirmation, exception handling, break resolution, and same-day issue remediation to ensure settlement efficiency, minimize fails, and maintain strong market counterpart relationships.
· Maintain robust controls across the trade lifecycle, identify control gaps and process weaknesses, and implement mitigating controls to reduce operational risk, key person risk, and control deficiencies.
· Ensure all operational processes, policies, and procedures remain fully aligned with internal governance standards and applicable regulatory requirements, including periodic reviews, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting obligations.
· Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues, client-impacting incidents, and cross-functional breaks, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and appropriate senior stakeholder management.
· Drive strategic change initiatives to automate, simplify, and enhance workflows, including system implementation, platform integration, operating model redesign, and continuous process optimization.
· Ensure new products, new business activities, and market changes are effectively assessed, operationalized, and integrated into BAU processes with appropriate controls, operating procedures, capacity planning, and training.
· Lead and monitor service delivery through KPIs, management information, incident tracking, and control reporting, using data to identify trends, improve performance, and support management decision-making.
· Build, develop, and lead a strong operations team by setting clear expectations, coaching managers and junior staff, strengthening succession depth, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
· Partner closely with Business, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and external vendors to challenge the status quo and deliver scalable, market-aligned operational solutions.
