Job Summary
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales and customer engagement for industrial automation solutions across Greece and Cyprus. The role combines technical expertise with commercial focus, supporting end users, OEMs, and system integrators by identifying needs, proposing tailored automation solutions (PLCs, drives, networks, industrial software), and expanding existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.

Job description

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMs, and system integrators across Greece and Cyprus.
• Identify customer needs and propose appropriate automation and control solutions (PLC, drives, networks, industrial software, etc.).
• Generate additional sales for the assigned product and solution portfolio.
• Contribute to pricing, quotations and commercial offers with technical input.
• Contribute to sales forecasts and reporting for the assigned portfolio.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing installations.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including product demonstrations and training.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to achieve regional sales targets.
• Promote new technologies and digital transformation solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars, and customer events.
• Report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to the regional management team.

  
Candidate’s Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or automation project support.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI/SCADA, variable frequency drives, industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Greece and occasionally to Cyprus and other EMEA locations.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and customer oriented.
