For a newly established Shared Service Center, we are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with English skills to support the procurement functions and contribute to efficient purchasing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage purchase orders and outline agreements.
- Maintain contracts and purchasing documents in SAP and e‑procurement systems.
- Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, and quantities.
- Resolve issues and claims raised by vendors.
- Handle small invoice discrepancies to support smooth processing.
- Manage the centralized procurement mailbox.
- Prepare tenders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to support supplier negotiations.
- Support purchasing activities for small and mid‑value projects following internal guidelines.
- Assist in period-end reporting and procurement-related documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate procurement processes.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant or related field
- Experience in a Shared Service Center (SSC) or other international business environment is required
- SAP experience is considered a strong advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (spoken and written)
- Additional European language such as French or German is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail, with the ability to follow established processes.
