What You’ll Need
● Experience: 1+ years of experience in growth marketing, campaign marketing or operational roles, preferably in eCommerce, B2C internet apps, retail, or CPG industries.
● Growth Planning and Operations Skills: Ability to identify growth opportunity and potential solutions with promotion, campaign, marketing initiatives; Google office proficiency; SQL a plus
● Team Player: A collaborative team player who doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves to handle day-to-day tasks.
● Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
● Organizational Skills: Strong organization, planning, and project management abilities.
● Language Skills: Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
【Responsibilities】
As a Merchant Strategy & Operations Specialist, you will be pivotal in driving growth and executing strategic campaigns for emerging merchants. This role emphasizes strong analytical skills, campaign planning, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. You will be responsible for uncovering new business opportunities, designing growth-oriented campaigns, and managing initiatives that fuel merchant success and market expansion.
What You’ll Do
1. Growth Initiatives Planning and Operations:
● Campaign Planning & Execution: Conceptualize and execute growth-focused campaigns to drive acquisition and market share for merchants. Design campaign strategies that align with business goals and are tailored to maximize merchant impact..
● Business Plan Development: Develop and optimize strategic business plans for mature merchants, focusing on growth initiatives. Perform ad-hoc business analysis to enhance merchant performance and meet key business objectives.
2. Merchant Project / Program Management:
● Target Setting & Analysis: Define project and program success metrics, backed by a comprehensive rationale and tracking methodology. Identify issues and opportunities for improvement, driving performance enhancement initiatives.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketplace, product, data, and account management to deliver valuable insights and ensure alignment on operational excellence. Additionally, provide consultation to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
● Project Development: Conceptualize and implement scalable projects aimed at improving the business attainment and strategic value of merchants.
