【Candidate Profile】

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
• 8 years+ experience in storage systems, SSDs, firmware, or performance engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SSD architecture, NAND, PCIe, NVMe and system I/O paths.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux storage stacks and performance tools (fio, perf, iostat, Vtune).
• Experience working with vendors and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

【Responsibilities】

Storage Architecture Engineer will be the bridge between Storage vendors and internal stakeholders (like project team, marketing, quality team…etc) to co-develop storage product into edge-PC to influence user experience.

The position will lead the charge in collaborating with top-tier vendors to integrate high-performance storage solution into our next-generation PC ecosystem.

Below is the key core responsibility :

• Storage Development: Act as the primary technical lead with SSD vendors to define, develop, and validate storage solutions. Need to ensure hardware meets rigorous performance, power, and thermal standards.
• Architectural Innovation: Research and prototype "First-to-Market" storage architectures. Need to explore technologies like CXL, NVMe-over-Fabrics, or computational storage to push the boundaries of system responsiveness.
• Software & Driver Optimization: Partner with 3rd-party developers to co-engineer drivers and software utilities. The goal is to create a seamless "out-of-the-box" experience—enhancing everything from boot times to specialized gaming/workload caching.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct deep-dive bottleneck analysis within the storage stack to improve latency and throughput in real-world customer scenarios.
