Sr. Merchandiser

【Client Description】

• A well-established buying agent specializing in apparel and accessories for renowned US and UK retail brands.

【Education/Experience】

• Fluent English is essential.
• Experience in Woven and Knit categories is a plus.
• University/College degree, preferably in Fashion Design or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in fashion design and product development/merchandising for US or EU fashion brands.
• Factory experience is required.

【Job Responsibilities】

• Account Management
• Maintain close communication to understand client needs and project direction.
• Keep updated on fabric, trims, and design requirements.
• Build strong client and supplier relationships to support ongoing business.
• Handle client updates on quality, production, and delivery.
• Sourcing & Business Development
• Support supplier sourcing and evaluation based on price and quality.
• Assist in preparing competitive quotes and factory/material options for new business.
• Coordinate sample development and approvals.
• Production Management
• Ensure production meets quality standards and shipment deadlines.
• Oversee full production flow from material sourcing to final shipment.
• Monitor order placement, cut-and-sew progress, approvals, and packing.
• Collaborate with Quality Controllers throughout production.
