Candidate profile

• Industry Depth: 15+ years in the Flash/DRAM or Storage industry. You should have a deep understanding of NVMe, PCIe Gen5/6, and emerging CXL standards.
• Management Scale: Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional R&D teams (50+ HC). You must be comfortable managing other managers and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Commercial Acumen: You possess the "height" to negotiate with suppliers and influence customers. You are as comfortable in a boardroom discussing strategy as you are in a lab discussing firmware hooks.
• Global Mindset: Experience working within a global corporate structure, with the ability to navigate HQ requirements while optimizing local Taiwan R&D execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering team (FW, HW.. teams) for SSD, DRAM, and MCP product development.
• Oversee multiple concurrent engineering projects, ensuring milestones, quality, and time-to-market goals.
• Collaborate with controller partners and ODM/OEM customers to define product features and verify designs.
• Present technical strategies, project updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
• Develop engineering plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Monitor engineering budgets and expenses.
• Define required skills, hire top candidates, and manage team performance, training, and career development.
