【Candidate Profile】

學歷與經驗

  • 資工、電機、電子或相關科系學士以上學歷（碩士尤佳）。
  • 5 年以上 BIOS/UEFI 韌體開發相關經驗。

技能條件（Skill Set）

必備（Must Have）

  • 熟悉 UEFI BIOS 開發架構（PEI/DXE/ACPI/Boot Flow）。
  • 精通 C / C++ 程式語言。
  • 具備 ACPI ASL 程式開發與維護經驗。
  • 具備 BIOS Debug 能力（Windbg、AMD HDT、Serial log 等）。
  • 良好的跨團隊協作與溝通能力（中英文）。

加分項（Nice to Have）

  • 曾負責平台 bring-up 或與 CPU Vendor 合作經驗。
  • 熟悉 Intel 或 AMD 平台架構、Memory training、Security Boot。
  • 有管理/帶領 junior 工程師經驗。
  • 熟悉系統軟體開發工具與版本控制（Git、SVN 等）。

人格特質

  • 具備強烈的問題分析能力、耐心與邏輯思維。
  • 能獨立作業，並肩負平台模組的 ownership。
  • 樂於進行底層 Debug，能在複雜環境中找出 root cause。
  • 良好的溝通技巧，能與跨國團隊協作。



【Job Responsibilities】

此職務負責平台 BIOS／UEFI 韌體之開發、維護與 Debug，確保系統能正確啟動與穩定運作。主要工作內容包含：

1. BIOS／UEFI 韌體開發

  • 設計與實作系統軟體之功能模組，包括 BIOS、韌體架構與相關子系統。
  • 進行 BIOS 功能新增、改版、最佳化與維護。
  • 根據產品架構與需求，進行程式設計、程式碼整合與系統驗證。

2. 系統架構分析與問題 Debug

  • 分析 BIOS 啟動流程與平台架構，進行問題追蹤、除錯與最佳化。
  • 使用 Windbg、AMD HDT、Serial log 等工具進行系統層級 Debug。
  • 解決平台 bring-up、相容性、ACPI、Memory training 等相關問題。

3. 韌體測試與品質控管

  • 撰寫並執行 BIOS 測試計畫、測試腳本與驗證流程。
  • 針對問題建立 Debug log、測試報告與改善方案。
  • 確保 BIOS 整合至系統架構中後的穩定性與功能完整性。

4. 專案協作與跨團隊溝通

  • 與產品管理、硬體、軟體及 ODM/外部開發團隊密切合作，推動專案進度。
  • 參與平台從 EVT/DVT/PVT 各階段的 BIOS 開發支援。
  • 作為 BIOS Team 代表，與 CPU 原廠（Intel/AMD）及海外團隊進行技術討論與議題追蹤。

5. 團隊技術經驗分享

  • 分享技術指導與問題解析。
  • 在大型專案中擔任模組負責人，負責風險控管與技術決策。


 

• Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.

• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

• Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration into application architecture.

• Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.

• Represents the software systems engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.
