REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electronics, Mechanical, etc.) or Business.

Experience

  • Required:
    • 10+ years of experience in sourcing
    • Minimum 5 years of people management experience
  • Preferred:
  • 5+ years of sourcing experience in electronics or electrical industries

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, procurement, and sourcing processes.
  • Ability to develop procedures, standards, and work instructions.
  • Understanding of international and local laws.
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Competence in planning, problem‑solving, training, coaching, leadership, and team management.
  • Kaizen mindset and innovation capability.
  • Knowledge of ISO, CSR, and RBA requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Sourcing Manager (Direct Materials) who will be responsible for the following:

  • Reports to: Senior Manager, MXV Regional Category Management
  • Supervises: Sourcing Engineer, MXV Regional Category MGT
  • Key Contacts: Cross‑functional teams, suppliers, customers, company entities, and local authorities
  • Lead and supervise the MXV RCM team in executing procurement strategies and sourcing plans.
  • Identify, assess, and qualify suppliers through structured evaluation processes.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve cost savings and improved business conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and Division/Global Category Managers to align sourcing needs and strategies.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and product transfer projects; source new suppliers when required.
  • Manage supplier performance and conduct annual business reviews with key suppliers.
  • Perform market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
  • Mentor, train, and develop sourcing team members to strengthen capability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, legal regulations, ethical standards, PBM Guiding Principles, TQM, ISO, EH&S, and Social Responsibility requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing processes and supplier management.

  • Responsible for sourcing direct materials.
