Quality Manager, Southeast Asia

Our client, an US sourcing organization, is looking for Quality Manager to manage QA/QC teams in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and other SEA countries. He/she is responsible for quality assurance & compliance, quality control programs and leading all quality associates in the region.

• 12+ year working experience in quality management with strong engineering, knowledge of hardline products such as kitchen cabinet, vanity, homewares, hardware, flanges, lighting... with min 7 years team management experience 
• Strategic planning and management are essential for the role. 
• Ideal candidate should be humble, willing to learn and listen while open-minded for changes
• Willing to travel frequently on a weekly basis.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English & Vietnamese.

• Manage the overall quality team headcount by leading the efforts of recruiting, training, and developing a highly efficient and effective quality team in the responsible region.
• Ensure that systems, processes, and procedures are implemented in place to monitor and audit product vendor compliance for quality objectives as well as corporate social responsibility key performance indicators.
• Optimize systems, processes, and procedures if needed to ensure that our products are manufactured to appropriate specifications and certifications as required by the U.S. market. 
• Ensure that pre-shipment inspection plans and activities are aligned with corporate goals and are being conducted following appropriate inspection procedures.
• Manage the accredited 3rd party laboratory service including factory audit, inspection and testing service following company global procedures.
• Manage product compliance activities including third party testing and verification of compliance requirements.
• Lead internal and external customer quality complaint resolution.
• Quality data management and analysis, pay efforts to support vendor improvement on product quality and manufacturing quality control.
