Principal Engineer - Cloud

• Adecco’s client is a leading technology group in Vietnam, currently involved in national strategic initiatives and looking for Vietnamese’s top-tier talents in Artificial Intelligence to join its growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Principal Engineer - Cloud who will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in the design and implementation of Cloud solutions and architectural components as assigned, ensuring compliance with technical, security, performance, and cost requirements.
• Support technical consulting and system migration to the Cloud; perform configuration, integration, and testing of Cloud services.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to deploy, operate, and troubleshoot Cloud services and platforms.
• Conduct technical assessments and propose improvements to system architectures, resource utilization, and cost optimization for Cloud environments.
• Research and stay updated on Cloud technologies; contribute to technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master/Engineer ’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
• Preference given to graduates from prestigious universities ranked in the top 500 QS Ranking or U.S. research universities classified as "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research spending and doctorate production" in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.
• Hold advanced Cloud certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Google, OpenInfra Foundation, Linux Foundation, or equivalent international certifications.
• Preference for additional certifications in security, architecture, or industry-specific awards.
• Experience in training and mentoring Cloud solutions in an international environment is a valuable plus.
• Recognized with national/international awards, outstanding contributions, or as a pioneer in applying new Cloud solutions that bring breakthroughs to the organization.

Experience

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, deploying, and managing Cloud systems (OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent).
• Has held positions such as team lead for research and development, Cloud solution expert, or senior Cloud architecture solutions engineer at large technology companies.
• Experience successfully managing migration projects and building large-scale Cloud systems, applying best practices in security, performance optimization, and cost reduction.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience deploying cloud solutions and cloud-native technologies: compute, network, storage, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless.
• Over 3 years of software development experience with languages such as Python, Golang, C/C++, etc.
• Led, developed, or successfully delivered large Cloud projects, helping businesses optimize operational costs, enhance performance, or scale systems.
• Successfully deployed Cloud solutions that drive digital transformation/operational transformation with significant impact on the business.
